A Saudi Civil Defense officer rescues a child from a fire in a hotel in Makkah.
A Saudi Civil Defense officer rescued a child from a fire which broke out in a fourth-floor room of a hotel located in Makkah’s Al-Misfalah district in Saudi Arabia on Friday.
About 80 Umrah pilgrims of various nationalities staying in the hotel were evacuated, spokesman of Makkah Civil Defense Capt. Naif Al-Shareef said.
Three firefighting teams managed to extinguish the fire. No injuries or casualties were reported.
