Madonna posts image of near kiss between Jewish, Muslim men

Madonna stirs controversy by posting a photo on Instagram of a Jewish man and a Muslim man about to kiss

Madonna stirred controversy on Instagram on Monday by posting a picture of a Jewish man and a Muslim man about to kiss, captioning it “This image is 100” with a heart emoji and the hashtag #rebelhearts.

The 56-year-old singer was soon flooded with comments ranging from furious users attacking the religious aspect of the homosexuality in the photograph, to others commenting that the image shows a positive message of love.

“Islam doesn't support homosexuality and if someone doesn't like that then they don't have to be Muslim. It’s that's simple,” one user commented, while others called the photo “disgusting” and “offensive to both religions.”

To counter such comments, another user wrote: “Love is love my friends doesn’t matter if you’re Jewish or Muslim or whatever.”

The Queen of Pop has recently been behaving in a provocative manner, from passionately kissing rapper Drake on stage, to publishing photos of Margaret Thatcher, also captioned #rebelheart. She has been receiving a lot of complaints for her actions from fans, but some still claim that all publicity is deemed by her as good publicity.
