Egypt’s first lady made her first appearance outside the country this week after she was spotted in Bahrain with her husband Abdelfattah al-Sisi, who is on a trip around the region.

Upon arrival, Amer was greeted by her counterpart Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim al-Khalifa, according to Bahrain's state news agency.
Sisi’s wife thanked Princess Khalifa for her warm welcome and considered the visit a way to bolster ties between the two countries.
Sisi is in Bahrain as part of an official visit where he will meet with King Hamad bin Issa al-Khalifa.
