In keeping with the glitzy emirate’s tradition, Dubai is getting ready to see off 2015 with a lineup of dazzling fireworks displays.

The 20-minute fireworks displays - which begin on the stroke of midnight every year - are a part of a country-wide chain of fireworks which includes the capital Abu Dhabi and Dubai’s neighboring emirate of Sharjah.

The fireworks will begin from Downtown Dubai, at the site of the world’s tallest tower, the Burj Khalifa, and will make its way to the iconic sail-shaped Burj al-Arab hotel at 12:09 am.

The show’s grand finale will take place at the upscale Jumeirah Beach Residence area at 12:16 am.

A live stream of the fireworks will be available on YouTube for everyone to tune in.
