ISIS computers full of porn, says former Pentagon top spy

US officers found ‘that the material on the laptops was up to 80 per cent pornography’

Most files found by US officers on laptops from ISIS contained pornography, according to Lieutenant General Michael Flynn, former Pentagon spy chief.

Flynn, who became head of the Defense Intelligence Agency in 2012, had earlier held senior intelligence posts in Afghanistan and Iraq after 2001, and has recently written a book on his experiences in the war on terror, which the German newspaper Bild is now serializing, Russia Today reported.

The book titled ‘The Field of Fight - How We Can Win the Global War Against Radical Islam and Its Allies’ with co-author Michael Ledeen, aims to inform Americans of the grave danger they face in the war on terror and how the government needs to take decisive action against the terrorists who are bent on destroying “our way of life”.

Flynn retired two years ago and has written about the ISIS as “a ruthless enemy… the one that raped and exploited women and children, boys and girls, who beheaded people because it pleased him and who watched pornography on his laptop.”

He wrote that US officers found “that the material on the laptops was up to 80 per cent pornography.”

Similarly, US forces had reported that large quantity of pornography was recovered in Osama bin Laden’s last hideout in Pakistan.

Flynn’s revelations tally with previous anecdotal evidence about the viewing habits of radical Islamist martyrs. Famously, a “considerable quantity” of porn was recovered at Osama bin Laden’s final Pakistan hideaway, and there had been previous reference of large caches explicit content being found on terrorists’ computers.

But many experts contend that ' porn watching habits of terrorists are nothing very bizarre and are much like the rest of humanity.

Flynn had an abrupt departure, reportedly over differences with superiors and his team over his radical intelligence reform, and has also criticised President Barack Obama’s policy towards radical Islam. Despite being Democrat, Flynn supports Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump.
