Why dozens of Pakistanis spent ‘10 furious hours’ in Jeddah Airport
Passengers waiting to fly back home to Pakistan from Saudi Arabia, spent 10 hours at Jeddah airport as their flight was delayed
Passengers waiting to fly back home to Pakistan from Saudi Arabia, spent 10 hours at Jeddah airport as their flight was delayed, Pakistani daily The News International reported.
The flight on Pakistan International Airlines was scheduled to arrive at Faisalabad airport on Sunday night at 7pm local time was delayed for an unknown reason, causing its passengers difficulties.
However, the passengers’ troubles did not end there. Once the flight took off and passengers disembarked from the plane, it was realized that the airline had forgotten the luggage of all 130 travelers behind at Jeddah airport. This angered passengers, who protested against the error caused by the airline.
The airline has been in hot waters recently. The Chairman of Pakistan International Airlines, Azam Saigol, resigned earlier this month after a fatal PK-661 air crash which killed 47 passengers.
