A man who last year was jailed for throwing bacon sandwiches at a mosque in Bristol has died in prison just two days after Christmas day.
The 35-year-old Kevin Crehan was jailed for the racist attack on Jamia mosque in Totterdown, Bristol, died on Tuesday he was halfway through serving a 12-month sentence, according to prison service spokesperson.
Crehan was part of a racist gang that left pieces of bread with bacon on the door handles of the mosque and placed bacon sandwiches on the doorstep in January 17, 2016.
