The story of the blue-eyed tea seller that spread across social media networks three months ago, after his image went viral and stole the hearts of many, has taken a new unexpected twist – he’s due to star in a movie in 2017.
Last October, an image captured by photographer Jia Ali of the 18-year-old Arshad Khan turned his life around from working as a tea-seller in a popular market in Islamabad, to an actor and star.

Khan’s manager announced on December 29 the filming of a new movie, and will be traveling this month to Dubai to film the scenes, The movie will premiere in September.
The movie ‘Kabeer’ tells the story of a man who comes from a humble background and has committed a crime - but wants to turn his life around. Khan plays the role of the hero’s brother.
