If you are wondering where the Obamas are heading after the Trump’s inauguration, it has been reported in May last year itself that they plan on staying back in Washington DC.

Usually outgoing Presidents leave the capital, but the Obamas plan to stay on for a couple more years till their younger daughter Sasha, finishes high school.

The family will be moving into a $5.3 million home leased from Joe Lockhart, who was press secretary in President Bill Clinton’s White House.

Built in 1928, the 8,200 sq. feet residence has nine bedrooms with a brick exterior and stately interiors with modern décor and fixtures. and all the comforts of a modern home. The huge garden at the back is conducive for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors.
