A teacher who spent 28 years at a primary school in Saudi Arabia’s Umluj city was welcomed by throngs of students who remembered him despite his absence after he was transferred to another school.

Lutfi al-Alati was a physical education instructor at the Fasheegh School 45 kms north of Umluj for 28 years before he was recently transferred to another school.

The video, now making its rounds on Saudi social media, shows students surrounding the teacher and when others tried to calm the students down, they kept asking for Alati’s return.
