Another French-Moroccan woman sues star Saad Lamjarred in a third rape case
In another twist to the case of Moroccan star Saad Lamjarred, another woman has stepped forward accusing the singer of raping her.
Lamjarred, who is being held in a Paris prison in an ongoing rape case, was accused of similar charges by another dual French-Moroccan who claimed that he had raped her in Casablanca in Spring of 2015, French media outlets have reported.
Le Parisian reported that Lamjarred was transferred to Paris’ first district on February 14 where his statement on the case was recorded.
The French-Moroccan woman, 28, said that she was vacationing Casablanca when she met Lamjarred in a hotel. She claims that he later invited her to another apartment before raping her.
She said that she had filed a police report in one of Casablanca’s police stations later that night.
The French newspaper added that the woman decided in early December 2016 to not take the case any further and withdrew her complaint after strong pressures she was subjected to from her relatives.
