WATCH: Video of Saudi youth imitating PlayStation One football game goes viral
A video emerged on social media showing a group of Saudi boys imitating a football game right of Sony’s PlayStation One console, taking many on a trip down memory lane.
The boys can be seen running stiffly and awkwardly, just as players in the console would. One of them scores a goal, and rushes towards the camera to celebrate with the memorable celebration music playing in the background.
Adel al-Zahrani, 22, came up with the idea – which he had no idea would blow up as it did.
“I expected it to spread, but not to this extent! It makes me feel great that the idea was a success,” al-Zahrani said.
