WATCH: Egyptian man claims to be a ‘priest of devil worshippers’

Published: Updated:

A man with strange facial features and satanic symbols on his hands and claiming to be the priest of devil worshippers appeared in an Egyptian television show Al-Kahera Wal Nas hosted by Basma Wehbi.

The man sat there for few minutes before Wehbi pointed out, quite obviously, that he was an ordinary person who used makeup and contact lenses to change his looks.

Wehbi said the purpose of this was to expose myths which “some people claim and many young people fall for.”

In recent years, accusations of devil worship have spiked in Egypt, particularly among metal rock concert-goers, resulting in police raids at times.
