Dr. Mona Prince, who was suspended earlier in April from her work at the Suez University for posting a video on Facebook while bellydancing, posted another video while dancing in her house.
“Happy Easter ... Dance and be happy,” Prince wrote.
“This is in response to all those who asked if I regret posting the (first video.) No, I don’t regret it! I will dance as long as I can,” she added.
“All we have left are laughter and joy. Let us be,” Prince also said.
Prince, who teaches English literature at the university, was referred for investigation and she has been suspended since then.
Many Egyptians launched a campaign against her on social media and accused her of harming the profession of lecturing and violating social traditions.
