After a full first day of official activities, United States President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump were treated to cultural festivities at the King Abdulaziz Centre for World Culture.
After Trump took part in the traditional Saudi sword dance with King Salman – known locally as the ardha – he was joined with his wife Melania to sample a few dates and Arabic coffee while touring the centre’s exhibition.
It was a packed day in Riyadh on Saturday as Trump and Saudi officials signed multiple deals throughout the day worth nearly $300 bln.
Trump is currently in Riyadh in his first official overseas trip as US president where he is expected to sign multiple deals with the Saudi Arabia.
He is also expected to give a speech later on Sunday on the Islamic faith during a US-Arab Islamic Summit with nearly 50 other Muslim-majority country leaders.
