An Egyptian bride fainted during her wedding and died after being directly transferred to the hospital.

Omar Hussein, a young man from the Minya governorate, told Al Arabiya that 22-year-old Jihad Omar, who was majoring as an English teacher, fell unconscious during her wedding to Moumen al-Ankiri. The wedding guests took her to the hospital where she took her last breath.

The bride and groom’s friends circulated and shared what happened on social media; they confirmed that the bride, after arriving at the wedding hall, told her relatives that she was in a weird state of exhaustion.

Within minutes, she fell unconscious and was taken to the hospital where she died of a severe heart attack, as doctors said.
