Cities in Saudi Arabia experience partial lunar eclipse

Citizens in Saudi cities like Riyadh experienced a partial lunar eclipse that last for about two hours on Monday night in the first of such cases in four years.

The partial lunar eclipse began at 8:23 pm local time in Saudi Arabia and reached its peak at 9:20 pm, where 25 percent of the lunar disk was located inside the earth’s shadow.

The moon began to gradually withdraw from the earth’s shadow until the partial eclipse ended at 10:18 pm as estimated by local astronomers.
