VIDEO: Saudi man pushes burning car out of gas station; averts catastrophe

The Governor of Riyadh, Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, honored a Saudi citizen for his bravery after he pushed a burning car away from a gas station saving the lives of tens of bystanders.

Sultan Mohammed al-Dosari drove his Toyota Land Cruiser towards the burning car pushing it out of the gas station averting a catastrophe.

Dosari told Al Arabiya that when the fire started he saw the vehicle’s owner run out and the car was engulfed with flames.

“I said to myself, ‘What if the fire came to the gas station tanks?’ I did not really look for the answer, I made a momentary decision, and risked driving my car in to the burning one to prevent disaster from happening,” he told Al Arabiya.

“After I pushed the car out of the gas station, I saw flames around my car starting with the front tires, so I drove it out of the station quickly to extinguish them,” he added.

Prince Bandar expressed his deep thanks, appreciation and pride to al-Dosari for his courage and fearlessness, stressing that the nation is proud of its youth and their honorable actions.
