WATCH: Graphic video shows football fan shot and killed in cold blood

After an amateur football match came to a close, conflict between supporters of the losing team and the winning players resulted in killing a supporter in cold blood in Fresnillo, Mexico on Wednesday.

The incident took place around 2 p.m. local Mexican time.

The 40-year-old victim, Gerardo, was defending the winning team under attack by throwing stones on the attackers when he was shot to death.

Gerardo died on his way to the hospital.

In the video, Gerardo appears to be in red while his attacker was dressed in black. There was another suspected culprit with the attacker.

Police official of Zacatecas state, Marco Fargas, said that the suspected killers escaped with a group of people in two cars.
