In light of the International Day of Happiness, the UAE’s Sharjah police released 11 prisoners from various nationalities, giving them the opportunity to resume a normal life.
Any debt the prisoners owed was settled by the Ayadi Committee and Sharjah Charity Association, reported Gulf News.
According to the newspaper, the prisoners thanked the police for their gesture.
