VIDEO: Dust waves suspend schools in Saudi Arabia, similar conditions in the UAE

Saudi Arabia's capital Riyadh and other regions in the country are experiencing dusty winds that caused suspension of schools and some universities on Tuesday.

Authorities decided to suspend schools fearing keeping in mind the safety of schoolgoing children and others.

The General Authority for Meteorology and Environmental Protection warned that these winds limit horizontal visibility to less than 100 meters and will continue until 2:00 am on Tuesday.

Similar weather conditions were experienced across the UAE on Tuesday with mild dusty wind covering the city. Videos shared on twitter even showed light showers.
