‘O ye, see this picture which shows
The symbol and pride of Arabism and the people of Saudi Arabia
Why I am just as excited as them is because their guardian
I call him a man of passionate stances.’
These are the poetic verses that Dubai’s Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed al-Maktoum used to describe and praise Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
A video of Sheikh Hamdan reciting these verses surfaced on social media where he is seen on a treadmill, doing his exercise, while looking at the Saudi Crown Prince’s picture on the cover of Time Magazine.
Several Twitter users shared the video, commending the sheikh and reaffirming the strong ties between the two countries.
In turn, several Saudi poets responded to the Sheikh Hamdan’s poem praising the UAE and its historic ties with the kingdom, as well as the friendly relations between their peoples.
