Published: Updated:

After a horrible car accident left him paralyzed and bed-ridden for seven years, Abdulrahman Maghawi, a young Saudi boy, earned his high school diploma.

During his seven-year stay at a hospital in ‘Asir, Maghawi was determined to pursue his education and refused to succumb to any challenges he faced.

His doctor, Mubarak Hamdan, told Al Arabiya.net that Maghawi’s “smile never leaves his face,” and his “optimistic spirit and desire to leave a positive impact on the world” is inspiring.

Upon his graduation, the student was offered an acceptance to the Saudi Electronic University where he will be studying computer science.
