Three men were viciously boiled alive in a large cauldron in the Ajilat region west of Libya’s Tripoli in a crime that shook the whole country.
A picture of the bodies was circulated on social media on Saturday after they were found by police. The pictures showed that the men’s hands and legs were tied together, with horrific burn and torture marks on their bodies.
The criminal investigation department of the Sabratha Security Directorate of the Libyan government announced that the investigation is still ongoing, and advised the public not to share fabricated stories on social media so as not to stir up strife between Sabratha and Ajilat.
