IN PICTURES: Here’s a list of ‘animal oracles’ being used during the World Cup
From Russia’s Achilles the cat to Dubai’s Shaheen the camel, animals have been turned into clairvoyants in recent World Cup years as fans try to predict outcomes of matches before a ball is even kicked.
Those animals have Paul the Octopus to thank after accurately predicting the 2010 World Cup matches brought him worldwide attention as an animal oracle.
Here is a list of all the World Cup creatures both great and small who are testing their psychic credentials by predicting outcomes of matches at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
