Mystery behind worker’s death solved by Dubai Police

Dubai Police have answered questions surrounding the mysterious death of a man whose decomposed body was found in a deserted area.

According to local media reports this week, it was found that the victim was strangled to death in an isolated area of Jebel Ali after a heated argument with the now-arrested suspect.

“The body was decomposed and buried in the desert. It was of an Asian worker. At first, we suspected that a group of co-workers were involved but later found out that one person had strangled the victim using a rope with the assistance of his relatives,” Brigadier Adil Mohammad Al Suwaidi said, according to Gulf News.

The suspect and his relatives have been referred to the Dubai Public Prosecution for further investigation.
