Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz responded to the tears of a young Saudi child who cried after learning that her district of Qurayyat would not be part of the king’s itinerary during his visit to the al-Jawf region.
In a fatherly gesture, King Salman received the girl, who happily ran towards him and embraced him.
The little girl went viral after a video of her crying was shared on social media, with many commenting on Twitter about King Salman’s popularity among adults and children alike.
King Salman was in al-Jawf as part of a multi-city tour across Saudi Arabia.
