A mother trapped in a burning apartment complex on Ferguson Road in Dallas, Texas, was forced to drop her baby to a bystander from a third story window as a huge fire burned down her home.
Five people were forced to jump out of the burning complex to escape the fire on Wednesday.
Local TV channels reported that a bystander spotted the flames shooting through the roof and ran to warn those on the third floor.
Dallas Fire-Rescue officials confirmed that six people, including the baby, exited the building through the third floor window.
Firefighters ‘extinguished the fire on Ferguson Rd, but the real heroes did their work beforehand, as civilians and Dallas PD worked together to get residents to safety,’ the fire department tweeted.
