Russian President Vladimir Putin celebrated Chinese President Xi Jinping’s birthday ahead of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) summit in Tajikistan’s capital.
For his 66th birthday, Putin gave Xi a cake, a vase and a freezer full of icecream and other presents before leading a champagne toast.
Having taken a sip of champagne, the leaders recalled celebrating one of Putin’s birthdays in the past.
The leaders are in Dushanbe for the fifth edition of the CICA summit.
