Turkey urges the West to host Syrian refugees

The Turkish government recently called on the United States and other European countries to adopt an open-door policy on Syrian refugees.

Turkey, which has always said it was capable of dealing with the increasing number of refugees, has now urged the international community to get involved and host those who are still continuing to flee the conflict in Syria.
