The Assad regime’s language which is protected by Putin’s Russia, said that there is no evidence that the chemical attack on Douma which killed its people was made by Assad’s forces, and that it is all a western “fabrication”. In this case, we must then believe the Israeli defense minister’s statements about the attack on the Syrian regime’s T4 military airbase near Homs.
Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman denied that Israeli warplanes raided the military airport which houses dozens of Iranian Revolutionary Guard experts, of whom seven have been killed.
What’s certain is that the Assad regime is the one which has a chemical and biological arsenal and it’s the one capable of transporting it to use it via military jets. It’s the only one capable of doing so and no one else.Mashari Althaydi
Speaking from an Israeli military post near Golan, Lieberman said: “I do not know who was in Syria and I do not know who attacked T4.”
Of course he is not honest, just like the Assad regime and Russia regarding the chemical attack crime on Douma.
In the UN session to discuss the recent horrific chemical attack on Douma, Assad’s Syria's UN envoy Bashar Jaafari made remarks in a provoking and pretentious manner in which he displayed his linguistic skills and “Sherlock-like” tendencies to investigate the truth of the attack.
Russia’s UN envoy Vassily Nebenzia adopted this same provocative logic and said allegations about a chemical attack on Douma were “fabrications.”
He then contradicted himself, proving that there were indeed chemical weapons, however, he exonerated the Assad regime from possessing them. He said that on April 8, Syrian military personnel who were inspecting a town near Douma found a factory belonging to “Jaysh al-Islam” that produces chemical weapons!
As if carrying out chemical attacks was a foreign thing for the Assad regime; hence the Russian protectors rush to devoutly and decisively deny the crime!
History of chemical attacks
Who committed such atrocities using chemical weapons before? Let’s see:
August 2013: An attack on Ghouta killed 1,400 people. This is when former US President Barack Obama announced his famous red line and a UN investigation report accused the Syrian government of carrying out a chemical attack there.
April 2017: The infamous chemical attack on Khan Shaikhoun which lead to wide international condemnation. Russia repeated the same propaganda and accused Assad’s rivals of being behind the attack.
So all these attacks and more, who is behind them?
Does this mean that ISIS and the al-Nusra Front do not think it’s permissible to kill people using chemical weapons?
They do think it’s permissible; however, what’s certain is that the Assad regime is the one which has a chemical and biological arsenal and it’s the one capable of transporting it to use it via military jets. It’s the only one capable of doing so and no one else.
If the Assad and Russian media want us to believe their constant denial, then they must not reject us when we believe Israel’s denial that it knows who stands behind the attack on the T4 airbase!
