Defiant and still smiling, Saudi TV star Nasser Al-Qasabi speaks to Al Arabiya News Channel after his sketch comedy show “Selfie” earned him death threats from ISIS this week after mocking the extremists.
“God is my protector, I am an artist and the artist’s role is to reveal the truth, even if he has to pay the price. If we are not serious about this, we should just stay at home,” Al-Qasabi said. “If they think what they are doing is jihad, then ‘Selfie’ (the TV show) is an act of jihad against them,” he added.
