Antonio Guterres to Al Arabiya: This is my vision to the U.N

Published: Updated:

Former Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Guterres is poised to become the next UN secretary-general, following a sixth straw poll of members of the UN Security Council Wednesday.

Guterres, who was Portugal's leader from 1995 to 2002, is also a former chief of the U.N. refugee agency.

Al Arabiya’s New York bureau chief Talal Alhaj has interviewed Guterres few weeks ago.
