Egyptian police officer caught on video slapping woman

Egyptian authorities are investigating a recent incident where a police officer was caught on video slapping a woman.

The woman had reportedly been trying to speak to the governor of Giza to submit a complaint, when a police officer slapped her in a trying to prevent her from doing so.

However, a security source said that the woman had been arresting on the grounds of assaulting the officer.

Authorities have been continuing to investigate.
