Video shows Jewish men hurling chairs at pro-Palestine activists in Paris

Published: Updated:

A video published online earlier this week showed dozens of Jewish men hurling chairs taken from coffee shops nearby and waving iron bars at pro-Palestinian activists while shouting racist slogans in the French capital.

The assailants seen in the YouTube video posted on Monday are suspected to be linked to the vigilante “Jewish Defence League” group.

SuperBeurkMan, the person who published the video titled “pro-Israelis who break everything in front of the synagogue on Rue de la Roquette,” said the incident took place on Sunday, the same day when dozens of pro-Palestine men were reported to have briefly besieged a Paris synagogue.

As a result of the clashes, at least three Jews were taken to a hospital.

On Wednesday, Israeli airstrikes killed four Palestinian children, raising the overall death toll in the nine days of violence in Gaza to 213.
