Egyptian prime minister gets light-headed during Friday prayers

Published: Updated:

Video footage released on Friday showed Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab getting light-headed and appearing to lose his balance during Friday prayers.

Mahlab was standing in the front line of the prayers, when he seemed to have lost balance and was about to fall, before holding on to a man standing next to him.

Another unidentified man standing behind the top official tried to carry on with his prayers with his arm extended to hold Mahlab, but the latter tapped his hand to remove it.
