A Google project manager has revealed that the Internet search giant is reinforcing some of the world’s undersea data cables after a series of shark bites, according to the Guardian newspaper.
The manager says Google is working with partners on cables across the Pacific Ocean to reinforce them with a Kevlar-like matting to prevent damage.
