Former U.S. President George W. Bush appeared on video in what initially seemed to be a message to those who have nominated him to take up the ice bucket challenge.
The challenge, which has gone viral on social media, is part of a global action to raise awareness for a degenerative motor neuron disease called Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
“To you all that challenged I do not think it’s presidential for me to be splashed with ice water,” the former U.S. President said.
However, the former first lady, Laura Bush appeared on screen with an ice bucket and poured it on her husband.
“That cheque is for me, I don’t want to ruin my hair style,” she said.
