London machete murderer seen in cafe hours before killing

Published: Updated:

Footage aired by The Sun shows the moment a man charged with killing a great-grandmother in her garden went for a quick meal in London cafe just two hours before the murder took place.

As seen in the footage, Nicholas Salvador sat and read a newspaper while he ate a burger and an egg, according to the footage obtained by The Sun.

A monitoring group has reported a surge in threats against Muslims and mosques following the gruesome incident.

As detectives Friday tried to establish just what drove Salvador to allegedly decapitate 82-year-old Palmira Silva in her back garden in Edmonton, a group monitoring threats against British Muslims said it saw a rise in reports just hours after news of the incident broke.
