Short film starring Kirsten Dunst highlights selfie-obsessed culture

Published: Updated:

A short film by Matthew Frost and starring Kirsten Dunst highlights today’s culture of taking selfies and notes what it’s like for a celebrity to be stopped in the street and asked to pose for a photo with fans, from the star’s perspective.

The short film, called “Aspirational,” sees Dunst stopped on the street by two teenage fans who take selfies with her but who fail to have a conversation with the star, seemingly reducing her to a photo opportunity.

The clip was commissioned by Vs. Magazine.
