U.S. tour guide breaks into racist rant on last day

Published: Updated:

A tour guide in the U.S. city of San Francisco went on a racist rant as her bus drove through the city’s Chinatown neighborhood, a video that surfaced earlier this week shows.

“If you are considering moving to San Francisco although this is the cheapest neighborhood, do not live here, I have learned my lesson, these people will wake you up at six in the morning, they make all this f****** noise all the time,” she said.

Several versions of the video have been uploaded to YouTube since the first one surfaced in which she drops several F-bombs.

In a pause between her rant she managed to illicit a few claps from people on the bus.

The guide, who was on her last day on the job, complained about different foods served in Chinatown, accusing dwellers of not “assimilating” in America.

“F*** your little seafood f****** markets with your turtles and your f****** frogs, when you come to America you've got to assimilate a little bit and here in America we don't eat turtles and frogs. F*** your laundry hanging out the windows … your three or four people living inside your tiny SROs … your parades … your dragons.”

“F*** Chinatown,” she concluded.

The CEO of City Sightseeing, the San Francisco tour bus company, issued an apology statement Thursday.

"Comments made by this former employee on her last day of employment are absolutely not a representation of how much we love and support Chinatown," the CEO said in the statement that was carried by local media.
