Published: Updated:

After fighters belonging to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria were forced out of Syria’s Tal Abyad, Al Arabiya News Channel was able to enter the city and gain exclusive footage of the battle-scarred area.

Tal Abyad, which lies near the border with Turkey, is now under the control of Kurdish fighters and the Free Syrian Army.

Al Arabiya News has gained access to exclusive pictures of the city, days after it was freed from ISIS control. ISIS’ black flags are seen hanging on buildings throughout the area.
