EU ambassador to Egypt says ‘no evidence’ Brotherhood behind Sinai attacks

Published: Updated:

Ambassador James Moran, head of the European Union delegation to Egypt, condemned this week's bloody militant attacks that killed Egypt’s public prosecutor and more than 17 soldiers in North Sinai. He said the recent attacks in Egypt are similar to the ones that happened in Tunisia and Kuwait last Friday.

Moran also said there is no evidence so far that the Muslim Brotherhood group is behind Egypt’s recent militant attacks in North Sinai and that the EU will wait for the investigation results.
