The US State Department denied what Turkey announced on making an agreement with the United States, which stipulates the establishment of a safe area in northern Syria in the framework of its campaign to face ISIS organization.
In an exclusive statement to Al-Arabiya, an official in the Pentagon said that the agreement with Turkey so far does not exceed the air use of Turkish bases to strike ISIS, Al-Nusrah Front and other extremist organizations inside Syria, and that there are no plans to impose a buffer zone.
