A smartphone charger as thin as paper

This time we will introduce to you a charger that works by the solar energy. Sanshon Zhang is a Korean designer who has developed a tablet that operates by solar energy called Solar Paper on Kickstarter platform for emerging projects. She describes it as the slimmest and lighter charger operating by the solar energy.

Charger dimensions are 19 cm x 9 cm, and its thickness does not exceed 1.5 mm, almost as thin as a paper, and it weigh about fifty grams.
Solar Paper can be carried easily between the pages of the book, and it can be hanged on your bag.

The Charger contains several panels where each power is 2.5 watts, and they can be linked-with each other for more power through magnetic edge for each panel. For example, a panel is sufficient for charging an iPhone 6 in two and a half hours under a bright sunlight and in five hours if the sky was cloudy.

An iPad will need four solar panels to charge it fully in a duration that does not exceed four and half hours. Solar Paper is distinguished with the ability of re-adjusting itself automatically as it is equipped with the Auto Comparison Technology which works on automatically setting the charger when there is a change in the weather and bright sun. It is also water resistant.
