With the start of about two million pilgrims to perform Hajj rituals, most of them are keen to visit the gold shops overlooking the outskirts of the holy shrine of Mecca.
These shops are marked by their designs diversity and good quality, especially their affordable prices allowing pilgrims to have a full range of options that depend on their financial status. Sales increase in Hajj seasons because of the many pilgrims although this year they did not come in large numbers as they were in the past. They come to buy items like rings and bracelets. Despite the fact that gold prices are high, they insist on buying what they need.
