Palestinian woman shot by Israeli forces at bus station after alleged stab attack

A video that emerged online purportedly shows Israeli police shooting a Palestinian woman at a bus station in Afula in northern Israel.

The 30-year-old woman, wearing a head cover and a long dress, is seen standing amid armed men, allegedly Israeli forces.

While she seems to raise her hands up in surrender, gunshots were fired and she falls to the ground. She seemed to pose no threat to the heavily armed men.

The woman was reportedly shot after an alleged stabbing attempt, an Israeli spokesperson quoted by the Palestinian Ma’an news agency said.

She was wounded and taken to hospital, Al Arabiya's correspondent reported.
