Saudi-UAE aid to Yemen: the situation and the obstacles

Despite the Saudi and international efforts to deliver humanitarian assistance to those in need in Yemen, several obstacles are put by the militias to prevent the arrival of this aid.

The main sea ports are that of Aden and Houdaida, while the outlets through which aid arrives by air, are the airports of Aden and Sanaa.

With regard to the port of Aden, the King Salman relief center and the UAE Red Crescent have succeeded, since regaining control over this important strategic city, in operating a sea bridge to the port.
