A Saudi-Turkish summit is held Riyadh, where the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived on top of an official delegation.
The Turkish Presidency has announced that Erdogan's two-day visit to Saudi Arabia is for discussing bilateral relations between the two countries, and a number of regional issues, topped by the Syrian crisis, and the incidents in Yemen.
Before the start of his visit, Erdogan stressed Ankara's solidarity with Riyadh and the ongoing consultation in the framework of efforts aiming at finding a political solution in Syria. In a joint press conference, the Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir and the TurkishForeign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu revealed an agreement on the formation of joint strategic council to bring stronger the Saudi-Turkish relations.
Prominent files of the region have topped the summit between the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdulaziz and Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Riyadh. The Saudi foreign minister has confirmed during a press conference with his Turkish counterpart the agreement on the establishment of a strategic cooperation council between the two countries that will make a qualitative leap in bilateral relations.
