Saudi deputy crown prince Mohammed bin Salman and his US counterpart Defense Secretary Ash Carter affirmed over a phone call on Thursday both country’s defense relationship.
The discussion included many issues, but most notably included the confrontation of Iran’s role in the region which led to the deterioration of several situations in countries like Yemen and Syria.
The phone conversation follows a recent published report of damning US court documents have exposed a link between Iran and the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.
